When Friends Play Fun-E-Ball

Updated: May 4

Yet another person shared his Fun-E-Ball prize with me via Instagram — and this time, he happened to be one of my “IRL” friends.

Boaz Burnett nabbed his very own one-inch bouncy ball while visiting Trends N Treasures on Saturday, April 12th. Even better, because he made me aware of his feat, he entitled himself become the subject of this here article. (Wilcox Arcade WILL put players under the spotlight when summoned on social media.)

I met Boaz while attending Murray State University several years ago, so I’m glad he engaged with my little promotion. Goodness knows word of mouth does wonders when you’re trying to take over western Kentucky.

What made this ordeal especially rewarding, though, was that I never nudged Boaz to play Fun-E-Ball for me. He spared his change for both it and Centipede solely of his own accord, only to then tell everybody so online.

Not only did Boaz share the good news with the world — he went the whole nine yards with his Instagram story. Just as I had instructed on the cabinet, my good buddy tagged Wilcox Arcade and dropped “#funeball,” showing just how much he cared. You can’t get much better than a customer following your instructions to a “T.”

Unprompted plays in particular mean a great deal to me, because they indicate I’m doing something correctly. When you’re operating a route from afar, it can sometimes feel like you’re screaming into the void. Little did I realize at least one person was listening all along.

Thank you, Boaz, for giving the time of day to Wilcox Arcade. Anyone else who wishes to be featured can share their winnings with me the same way.

Speaking of social media, my Facebook page has been on fire lately, comparatively speaking. I never could have foreseen that sort of resurgence after 8 straight years of the platform essentially nosediving.

I suppose this marks the end of my article. See you real soon (right back at my blog).

Hello everyone, just popping in to share a laugh. I was scrolling Facebook and saw an ad about some no deposit offer, so I decided to try the jackpot raider no deposit bonus. Thought it would be a waste of time—ended up laughing when I managed to unlock one of the in-game maps without spending a penny. It's got that Indiana Jones vibe going on, which is a nice change of pace. For anyone in the UK who enjoys treasure hunt themes, this one's not half bad.
