New Electronic Sticker Machine Coming to Know-a-Guy

You’re about to start seeing double — thanks to Wilcox Arcade at Know-a-Guy in Murray, Kentucky.
Let’s start with some context: My coin-operated machines at Know-a-Guy currently consist of one video game, Switch ’N’ Shoot, as well as two electronic bulk vending machines. One of those bulk vending machines is black, containing an assortment of candy in two-inch capsules, and the other is red, containing Pokémon cards and Dragon Ball Z stickers.
Well, I’m about to drop another sticker machine, just like the red one — only this time, it’ll be yellow, and it’ll contain both Hatsune Miku and Hello Kitty stickers.
This new yellow machine will also contain the candy from the aforementioned black machine, but that’s because the black one will be en route to The Pink Petunia in Crofton, Kentucky, where it’ll vend seed packets in two-inch capsules. This swap of sorts was simply my way of killing two birds with one proverbial stone, enabling Wilcox Arcade to re-enter the Christian County market after an agonizing hiatus.
At the same time, Know-a-Guy will receive another electronic bulk vending machine that everyone is sure to enjoy, considering the existing sticker machine there is so popular. (I’ll grant you a peak behind the curtain for a second: It turns out stickers are more hotly desired than candy. Who would’ve thought it?)
I selected Hatsune Miku and Hello Kitty stickers because they seemed most relevant to offer at a geek culture store, where customers will likely be predisposed to those franchises. Obviously, I want you to want these stickers, so I’ve made certain they’ll be something you’ll recognize — disregarding the fact that I, too, adore Hatsune Miku, and I own a Hello Kitty crewneck.
While a sticker machine isn’t something you can play, in contrast to Switch ’N’ Shoot, I think there’s value in offering little treats at such attainable prices. It’s reassuring that at least some things still cost just one dollar in 2026, hopefully putting a smile on your face with each use.
But for now, consider yourself quite “up to date” on what’s happening with Wilcox Arcade. You won’t need to wait much longer to engage with this yellow sticker machine at Know-a-Guy in Murray, nor the black capsule machine at The Pink Petunia in Crofton.
Oh, and as a reminder, Skycurser will eventually make its way to Know-a-Guy, as well, just as soon as I can hammer out some lingering details. (I’m very sorry for the lengthy wait thus far.)
