You’re looking at a coin-op triple threat in Calloway County: Wilcox Arcade has secured its third location in Murray, Kentucky — this one being Fifth & Main Coffees.
Now, what on Earth did I make happen at Fifth & Main, via Wilcox Arcade? The answer is quite simple: I placed, by the register, an electronic bulk vending machine bearing two-inch, fruit-shaped gumballs — a new use for the very machine which previously bore seed packets at The Pink Petunia in Crofton, Kentucky.
My wife Jordan and I settled on offering two-inch, fruit-shaped gumballs because, most importantly, we believed they would aptly complement the main attraction, and, secondarily, the sheer novelty factor of their size was much too fun too ignore. (I mean…these things are huge.)
Fifth & Main Coffees is deeply personal to me for so many reasons. For one thing, it’s where my wife and I met with each other in person for the first time, right after she gave me her contact information on the campus of Murray State University. Before that, it’s where my friends and I recorded a portion of the short film Grief, for which I produced two behind-the-scenes featurettes.
More broadly, though, Fifth & Main is a fantastic spot to shop for…well, coffee — but also hot chocolate, plus other sweet treats. (Hey, I’ll never be a coffee drinker.) It’s located underneath New Life Christian Book store, where you can, no doubt, purchase a whole bunch of other neat stuff.
I’m extremely proud for Wilcox Arcade to have landed in a venue that is of such significance to both myself and Mrs. Wilcox Arcade — and, of course, I’m tickled pink to be smack-dab on the “square” in downtown Murray. (These are not facts that I take for granted, by any means.)
As a reminder, when it comes to the city of Murray, you can also find Wilcox Arcade at Know-a-Guy — where I dropped Switch ’N’ Shoot and a couple bulk vending machines — and at Trends N Treasures — where I dropped Fun-E-Ball and Centipede. (That’s not to mention my many other locations — including Venture River Water Park, The Mason Jar, and Basement Bar Collectibles.)
Back to my main point, I’m beyond stoked that Fifth & Main Coffees will now be home to yet another Wilcox Arcade bulk vending machine in Calloway County. I’d be tickled pink if you found it in your heart to swing by sometime to grab a fruit-shaped gumball or two, for only a dollar a pop.
Follow Wilcox Arcade on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube to keep up with my burgeoning route of video arcade games and bulk vending machines here in western Kentucky.

This is an incredible partnership! Co-locating arcade machines inside a coffee shop is a brilliant way to blend diverse offerings under one roof, creating an all-in-one convenient destination. This model of merging different verticals to drive growth translates perfectly to the business world. In financial services, instead of running isolated lines, success comes from integration. Registering a certified Insurance Marketing Firm provides that exact, multi-layered compliant structure allowing an agency to bundle and distribute diverse financial protection products in a single, convenient corporate setting. Best of luck with the Murray expansion!
