Vote Jordan Wilcox for The People’s Artist

Let it be known how you should cast your vote for “The People’s Artist” this year: Jordan Wilcox is undoubtedly the wisest pick for this distinction — and that, my friends, is exactly why I’ve scribed this article.

For context, The People’s Artist is a contest tasking contenders with soliciting votes to succeed — in other words, a perfectly democratic process. The winner will earn an exclusive exhibit The Art of Elysium's Art Salon in Los Angeles, California. (Oh…and they’ll get $25,000, as a hearty bonus.)

And okay, I’ll be transparent about my bias here: Jordan Wilcox is my wife, Mrs. Wilcox Arcade herself. Regardless, I think her art is so phenomenal — and her intentions so pure — that she could make darn good use of the cash prize. I could see her really turning around her life with that money.

I’ll speak on her behalf a little bit in this article: I could see Jordan absolutely decimating the student loan debt she accrued studying studio art, before eventually opening an art galley of her own — something she believes would enhance the art scene in western Kentucky. (We’re nothing if not entrepreneurial.)

But throwing aside that stretch goal for a moment, even freeing herself of student loan debt would tremendously improve her trajectory in life. Jordan has a whole lot to say with her art, so I’m certainly hoping as many people as possible will one day have the pleasure of experiencing it.

Don’t just take my word for it: you simply must check out her latest digital piece — which she created, at my request, to advertise my seed packet vending machine at The Pink Petunia in Crofton, Kentucky. (I’m acutely interested in supporting the arts, and that would include my wife.)

As you can see, this woman most assuredly has the magic touch, which I why I sincerely hope you’ll consider voting her into the lofty honor, as “The People’s Artist.”

PSA: You can vote once per day until the contest ends. That means, the more often you vote, the more likely it is Jordan will bring home the victory. Goodness knows I’d be proud of her for that achievement (albeit I’m perfectly proud of her as it stands).

Thank you so much for your time and consideration in this matter. We’re on pins and needles to find out if Jordan Wilcox will become “The People’s Artist” — but at least you can help.

Great explanation in this article. It reminded me of games that reward patience and persistence. If you're interested in trying one, you can play Geometry Dash and experience a mix of music, obstacles, and custom levels.
