Wilcox Arcade Comes to TasteBuds in Crofton, KY
You can now officially get your gumball fix at TasteBuds Dining & Catering in Crofton, Kentucky — via the latest bulk vending machine on the Wilcox Arcade route.
Last month, the Wilcox Arcade route grew by exactly one location, when I deployed a coin-operated candy dispenser bearing two-inch, fruit-shaped gumballs in Christian County.
This particular bulk vending machine had formerly resided at 5th & Main Coffees in Murray, Kentucky, before I replaced it with a similar unit containing candy-filled jawbreakers. (In other words, you’ll encounter more opportunities than ever to satiate your sweet tooth.)
Christian County is of paramount importance to me — something I’ve gabbed about before on the Wilcox Arcade blog. Although I technically grew up in Hopkinsville, Crofton is only a stone’s throw away, meaning I’m very close to conducting business in my hometown.
You may even recall how, earlier this year, I operated the same bulk vending machine at The Pink Petunia Greenhouse in Crofton — only that time offering seed packets in two-inch capsules. Now, in partnership with TasteBuds, I can maintain my presence in this rural western Kentucky community year-round.
(While the details are still in development, I may have the opportunity to place another bulk vending machine in Chritian county very soon — but, believe it or not, in my actual, honest-to-gosh hometown of Hopkinsville instead. I’ll keep you posted on that development when I can.)
