Wilcox Arcade T-Shirt Giveaway

Hey, you — you’ve just stumbled upon a rare opportunity to win a free Wilcox Arcade T-shirt.

More specifically, I’ll grant a complimentary Wilcox Arcade T-shirt to anyone who visits The Pink Petunia in Crofton, Kentucky; then, captures a photo of my seed packet vending machine by the cash register; and finally, shares the image on any social media platform, tagging Wilcox Arcade.

It’s a pretty simple series of events — yet incredibly rewarding just the same. I even made a video explaining my giveaway (in case you would prefer to ingest the information that way).

As a recap, Wilcox Arcade has operated a seed packet vending machine at The Pink Petunia since March, the contents of which came from Bentley Seeds in Cambridge, New York. Some potential seeds you can receive include milkweed, sunflower, watermelon, and many more.

The Pink Petunia is based in my home county, Christian — only I grew up in Hopkinsville, not Crofton — so having a presence there is of serious personal significance to me. Plus, I’ve known greenhouse owner Allie Duplessis since were literally in kindergarten, meaning it’s been something of a “full circle” moment for us.

This giveaway is simply my way of making sure the people of Christian County remember the Wilcox Arcade name. After all, I intend to someday open my own venue there, even if that goal feels at least a decade away from me now.

If you’d like deeper context regarding Wilcox Arcade at The Pink Petunia, you’re in luck: I’ve already cranked out two exciting YouTube video detailing the particulars of this partnership. The first one was a bit of an After Effects flex for me.

The second one, on the other hand, let’s you see the seed packet vending machine is all its real-world glory, which you might find a little more engaging.

With all that explanation out of the way, I’m really hoping someone will take me up on my offer before the The Pink Petunia closes for the season. I mean, how often can you get a free T-shirt from Wilcox Arcade? Those things are usually, like, $24 on my Teepublic page.

Keep in mind you can directly lend a helping hand to my small business by spreading the word about me on social media. Goodness knows it costs me an arm and a leg to advertise what I’m doing, whereas honest-to-gosh word-of-mouth is typically more effective anyway.

But yeah, that’s the whole spiel about my latest giveaway. Simply snap a photo of my vending machine — then, share it to any social media platform, tagging Wilcox Arcade.

Seems easy enough, right?
